- TSA INSPECTION SERVICES - - UPDATE - WE COMPLETED 2007 WITH LOCOMOTIVE AND RAILCAR INSPECTIONS UP 38% OVER THE PRIOR YEAR.  OUR FOURTH QUARTER ACTIVITY CONTINUED A DECLINE THAT STARTED IN THE THIRD QUARTER,  AND 2008 STARTED SLOWER THAN WE WOULD HAVE LIKED.  MARCH ACTIVITY IS SHOWING A SIGNIFICANT PICK-UP IN INSPECTIONS OF BOTH RAILCARS AND LOCOMOTIVES.  WE HOPE THIS WILL CONTINUE.   MANY OF OUR EXISTING CLIENTS ARE SLOWING DOWN IN ACTIVITIES INVOLVING RAIL EQUIPMENT AND WE ARE SEEING, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A FEW YEARS,  A SURPLUS IN VARIOUS TYPES OF RAILCARS. WE ARE PICKING UP SOME NEW CLIENTS THAT IS HELPING US TO GET THROUGH THIS. AS WITH THE HOUSING MARKET,  THE SLOWDOWN IN THE RAILCAR MARKET AND SHIPPING ACTIVITY OF SOME EQUIPMENT TYPES,  SHOULD LEAD TO SOME OPPORTUNITIES FOR ACQUISITIONS OF EQUIPMENT AT GOOD PRICES.  WE STAND READY TO HELP WITH ANY INSPECTIONS THAT WILL BE NEEDED. Do follow up Inspections to insure Repairs are done correctly and completely. --  Provide Inspection of Equipment for Valuation purposes to firms such as  RAILSOLUTIONS  that provide valuation services of railcars and locomotives. --  Other services upon request.
