TSA RAILCAR SERVICES uses only inspectors that are qualified and experienced.  All must be mechanically inclined and have a working knowledge of AAR Interchange Rules.  DOT and - or - Transport Canada Rules and regulations.  We do inspections of all types of New and Used Railcars, Intermodal Equipment and Locomotives.  A partial list of our services is below.

--  TSA PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING  --

--  Equipment Lease in or Purchase Inspection.

--  Equipment Lease Return or Sale,  Joint Inspection,  can represent either party to a transaction.

--  Locomotive Inspection for Purchase or Lease and to monitor lease provisions involving maintenance of the equipment.

-- New Car Audits - Using engineering drawings,  weld procedures and regulatory requirements,  all to be followed and complied with.

-- Used Car Audits - Shop audits to insure repairs to railcars meet AAR,  FRA and DOT requirements in addition to meeting specific car owner requirements.

Provide AAR Quality System Audits for car owners and car repair shops,  For car repair shops provide independent audit in advance of shop seeking AAR requalification or yearly compliance audit.  Inspection will involve the AAR quality system check list.  For car owners insure shop meets your requirements and are in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

--  Monitor Shop Program Repairs -- Rebuild Programs -- etc.

--  Provide Inspection of Railroad Damaged Cars Prior to sending to a Contract Repair Shop or before Authorizing Repairs. Do follow up Inspections to insure Repairs are done correctly and completely.

--  Provide Inspection of Equipment for Valuation purposes to firms such as  RAILSOLUTIONS  that provide valuation services of railcars and locomotives.

--  Other services upon request.

If you have Mechanical - Railcar - and / or -   Locomotive Inspection experience and looking for regular part time work give us a call or email  your background and qualifications.   

If you have a tank car repair and inspection background including a working knowledge of linings, valves, and tank car qualifications, this is a plus.

If you are taking early retirement and looking to do some part time inspections - we may be able to help you.  

As an independent contractor you decide when to take assignments.

Full time work may become available and three to six month assignments involving new car inspections from in process to finished cars are possibilities.
